Maker's Night Out - Building an Audio Amplifier Circuit

For our Maker's Night Out on Sept. 14, we worked on wiring an audio amplifier onto a breadboard. We had a wide range of age groups at this session for a truly family oriented evening.

The schematic we used for our amplifiers required just a few components. A resistor, potentiometer, two capacitors, and an operational amplifier integrated circuit chip.

The intent was to create an amplifier to use with the styrofoam plate speakers we made a couple of weeks ago.

Everyone went home with a working amplifier.
