July 2012 Build Nights - Introduction to Game ProgrammingIntroduction to Video Game Programming with 'Scratch'.
This class is to give an introduction to video game programming using the 'Scratch' language developed by MIT.
We will be modifying an existing side scroller game to use your graphics & program your 'character' to move in a 2D side scroller environment..
You will need to have a laptop capable of using Scratch & install the application from the MIT site.
We will be offering 2 classes, the first will be reviewing the environment & learning how to program you character. Class 2 will be placing your character into the 2D scroller
and programming interactions with the environment.
