November Show and TellWe have an interesting lineup planned for tonight's Show and Tell from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the HMS Beagle Science Store. -- Super Awesome Sylvia is planning to check in with us and talk about some of her projects. We will be showing one of her videos where she is working on programming an Arduino microcontroller.

Maker's Night Out - Building an Audio Amplifier CircuitFor our Maker's Night Out on Sept. 14, we worked on wiring an audio amplifier onto a breadboard. We had a wide range of age groups at this session for a truly family oriented evening. (Photo by Jason O'Reilly) The schematic we used for our amplifiers required just a few components. A resistor, potentiometer, two capacitors, and an operational amplifier integrated circuit chip.

Makers Night Out - Styrofoam Plate Speakers - Aug. 31, 2010As Seen in MAKELast Tuesday we chose this fun and easy project, it's found in Make Magazine #12 on page 131, titled "Styrofoam Plate Speaker".
We had a good crowd of about 12 people including some new visitors who learned about us from the recent KC Mini Maker Faire.
